Could it be that God is allowing our fund raising to move slowly so He can get the glory? I think so! He has always been and will always be in the relationship business. God desires our heart's affection and adoration, just like we long for intimacy with our spouse, parents, best friend, children; the list lengthens. Since we are made in the image of God, we bear and reflect the facet of our Father that longs for time spent with us in communion and just plain friendship.
While we are waiting on the funds to arrive, many have enlisted to pray on our behalf. This is after all His desire for us, to pray without ceasing. So, I have come to accept our tortoise pace as a catalyst in the prayer life of ourselves and our friends and family, continually drawing our hearts to the Father's in search for answers only He can provide.
So, in the meantime, we shall be found "on our knees" in sweet fellowship with Jesus, whom we fix our eyes upon, the author and perfecter of our faith. He alone will provide.
