Good-Byes, Never ending

As our process of mourning and saying many good-byes continues, it is becoming clear that some tears are more heavily weighted with sorrow than others. But this remains true: Jesus is worth it all! The following lyrics echo in my mind as I consider our time of transition from our home to an unknown place...

All to Jesus I surrender;
All to him I freely give.
I will ever love and trust him,
In his presence daily live.

I surrender all,

All to thee my blessed savior,
I surrender all.

Any sacrifice we can make pales in comparison to His ultimate selfless act of leaving His throne in Heaven, affirming our humanity and dying for the very hate-filled people who drove the nails into His flesh. He alone is worthy of all sacrifice and praise. To Him be the glory as we live in His favor as His beloved and cherished children.
